Final logos, (after improvements).

Here are all my completed radio stations logos, after I made required changes in order to improve the logos, in order for them to become more successful and professional. Changes have been considered by peer's feedback, stating advance to how each logo can be improved.

Here is one example I received back from one of peers, the information states what is required in order to improve all three of logos more efficiently.

For this logo I changed the amount of images, by adding more pictures, (such as headphone on the, 'L' for, 'Pulse' and added the symbols for pause and play). I decided to add both of these images as it relates to the radio station, which is supplying music. Therefore I decided to add more images in order for the logo to become more appealing and attracts the audience's attention more efficiently.

In addition I improved this logo for, 'Lock' by adding another image, (which in this case is a gold key), one of peers stated that I should add at least one more image, in order to improve the logo's appearance. So I decided to add a image related to Lock's radio station logo. In conclusion I have improved this logo by adding at least one more image, in order to improve this radio station's logo appearance in an professional manner, by considering peer's personal opinion.

Also for this radio station logo, which in this case is, 'Buzz', I received feedback to how to improve this logo, which was increase the size of the text and images being included. So I acknowledged this feedback by increasing the size of of logo's name, 'Buzz' and increasing the size of the images being included. These changes were required and needed, as to made the audience clearly be able to understand and read the logo more easily. Therefore this logo has been improved as I have considered feedback from peers, as I wish to improve my logo in a more successful and professional manner.

Meanings behind each logo:
For the, 'Pulse' logo I have placed each letter in different heights/levels, this is so it will attract the audience's attention more efficiently, rather than having, 'Pulse' in one straight line. Pulse logo always has a black line running down the lower centre, this is to symlibce a person's pulse/heartbeat. Therefore this then means that Pulse is a radio station providing life, and new/upbeat music to an wide audience.

For the, 'Lock' logo I have included a use of a key hole this the text stating, 'Lock' inside the key's hole, there is a always an image of an key included. By including an image of a key symbolise the audience, and the key hole symbolise the radio station, 'Lock'; this then means that the audience are unlocking new music, will available for them when wished so.

In addition for the, 'Buzz' radio station logo I have included use an positive appearing image of a bee, I have included this image in order to appeal to the younger generation; this is because young children will find a bright/vibrant image more positive; this then suggests that Buzz radio station is a positive station, suitable for all ages, but targeted for young children.

Furthermore I have included use of an stripes, (lines) in all my logo's background; this is so each logo shows they are a family, (to, 'OW!') but as well making each logo attract the audience's attention more efficiently though the use of striped background.

Why my logos fit together:
All three radio stations logos fit together because all the logos are the same length, (which is 20cm by 20cm), the logos have a stripy background but the stripes are different colours which is to show how all three logos have originality and playing a range of different music to appeal to a range of ages. Also all the logos have, 'OW!' in the corner to show what music brand it belongs to this is show the audience know that all three logos link to together. And all logos are bright and colourful which makes the radio station appear more appealing to the audience because the use of bright colours suggests that the radio stations are positive for the audience.

How they are a family:
All three logos are a family as they show use of similarities such as all three logos are bright and colourful which suggests the logos will appeal to a wide range of target audiences, the logos are all the same length and width (which is 20cm by 20cm), the background for the logos are similar (logos have a stripy background to make the logo appear more bold, appeal to the target audience more and to make the radio station's logo appear more interesting to the audience). And all three logos show they are a family of logos because the logos show the brand's name in the corner which is, 'OW!' this is to show what the logo's brands identity is.

And how they help with OW! music's brand identity:

The logos help with OW! music's brand identity because the logos state in each corner of the logo, 'OW!' this is so the audience know that all three logos are linked together, and that all the logos come from the same music brand identity. This is helpful for the audience because the audience may enjoy one radio station and if wished so the audience can listen to two other radios, this is because I have created in total three logos. Therefore all three logos help with OW! music's brand identity because it clearly states in a interesting and bold font, 'OW!' this is so the audience is aware that all three logos came from the same music brand identity.

Final logos.

Here are all of my final logos:

For this radio station for, 'Lock' the file format I will use will be, 'PNG' this is because it can be shared by other people quickly, the file format is supported by recent web bowers and PNG supports a high level of loss less of compression and transparency.  Therefore I will use this file format because it can be shared by other people on a range of web browsers.

Also for this radio station's logo, 'Pulse' I will use the file format I will use will be, 'PDF' this is because it can open on any system this is because it does not run in any specific programer and I will use this type of file format because it is a very small file size which means it is easy to share with other people. Therefore the chosen file format I will use will be, 'PDF' as it can be shared easily by other people.

For this radio station for, 'Buzz' I will use the chosen file format which is  'JPG' this is because this file format can be shared quickly and easily by other people and this file format is widely supported standard for both digital photography and the internet. For example this file format can be shared on websites such as, 'blogger.com' so other people can see the radio station logos.

Why my logos fit together:
All three radio stations fit together because all the logos are the same length, (which is 20cm by 20cm), the logos have a stripy background but the stripes are different colours which is to show how all three logos have originality and playing a range of different music to appeal to a range of ages.

Buzz logo radio station.

I began the, 'Buzz radio station logo' by saving and opening an image that is related to my radio station I did this by using the Internet and saving an image of a cartoon bee which I then opened onto Photoshop.

Next I made the image larger by pressing and holding, 'CMD and T' then holding on the keyboard, 'shift' so my image will still in proportion.

I then deleted parts of the background I did this by using the, 'Magic wand tool' which I clicked the background of the image which then highlighted and pressing the, 'backspace button' which allowed me to deleted parts of the image I wished.

After I finished deleting the background I used the, 'Rubber tool' to delete unwanted text this is because the image included some text that I wished not to display on my logo. Therefore I used the rubber tool by clicking and holding on the area where I wish to delete.

After I finished using the rubber tool my logo looked like this so far.

I then added a font text using the website, 'dafont.com' this allowed me to add a font type and the font type I downloaded to use was the font called, 'Orange juice'. I also added a background to my logo using the, 'Paint bucket tool' and selecting the colour white and clicking on the background of the logo. The background of the logo then changed white.

After I added my text I changed the sized my using the, 'Text tool' which allowed me to adjust the size and colour of the font.

Then I used the, 'Palette tool' this was so  I could change the size of the font but I changed the width and length of the font this is so the font text is more clear to read by the audience. I also changed the placing of the font I did this by pressing the arrow keys around the text. this is so my text appears more professional and interests the audience more.

I then added more to my background this is so my logo is more appealing to the audience. I did this my using the, 'Shape tool' and selecting, 'Line' I then placed the shape where I wished.

I then kept adding the shape background to my logo so it appears more appealing and professional to the audience.

I then finished adding my background to my logo.

I then added a heart to my logo so it appeared more appealing to the audience and so my logo did not appear to plain and unattractive to the audience.

I then added another heart to the logo this is so it made the logo appear more appealing to the audience and more professional.

I then added text to my logo using the, 'Text tool' and using the website, 'dafont.com' and selecting/ downloading the font type, 'Orange juice'. Then on Photoshop I typed, 'Ow!' onto my logo after I added this text to my logo I completed my logo for, 'Buzz radio station logo'.

Www (What went well): My logo is bright, colourful and positive therefore more people will be interested in my radio station because the logo has represented the radio station in a positive way.

Ebi (Even better if): I could improve this logo by adding more to the logo this is so the logo attracts a wider audience because if more is added to the logo then more people will be interested in the radio station.

Pulse radio station logo.

I first began by adding a music note I did this by selecting, 'custom shape' and choosing which shape to use, I then chosen the music note. After this I wished to change the colour of the design to make it more appealing I did this by selecting the, 'paint bucket tool' and choosing the colour green. I then clicked on the music note and it turned to my chosen colour which in this case is green.

After this I changed the colour of the background by selecting the, 'Paint bucket tool' and choosing the colour white. I then clicked on the background and it turned to my chosen colour which in this case is white.

I then search on the internet for an image of different type of musical note.I then saved the image to my personal file which I then open onto Photoshop, I then enlarged the image so it was more clear to see by the audience I did this by holding, 'CMD and T' and then holding, 'Sift' which allowed the image to keep the propitiations the same, even if the image has changed in size.

I then changed the colour of the music note I did this by selecting the, 'paint bucket tool' and choosing the colour light pink. I then clicked on the image and it changed to my chosen colour which in this case is light pink.

I then selected a font by using the website dafont.com choosing the font type called was, ‘HairyFun’.  I then chosen a font that fitted with this radio station which in this case is, 'Pulse'.

Next I changed the size of the font by using the, 'text tool' which allowed me to changed the size of the font size.

I then changed the colour of the font by selecting the colour I wish to use which in this case is the colour black. I also changed the placing of the font to make it appear more youthful, appealing and interesting to the audience.

After this I changed more of the font's letter to make it more clear and appealing to the audience.

Next I added a background to my logo which was adding a red line by using the, 'shape tool' and selecting the line shape which allowed me to place the shape where I wished. I also changed the colour of the line by selecting the colours and choosing the colour red.

I then kept adding the line in the background to make the logo appear more professional and colourful to the audience.

After I did this I added a black line by selecting the, 'shape tool' and selecting the shape of the line, also I changed the colour to black by selecting the colour in the range of colours.

I then added the word, 'OW!' I did this by using the website, 'dafont.com' and downloading the font type, 'Moon flower' I then began using the text tool and selecting where I wished my font to be place. I then finished my logo for, 'Pulse radio station'.

Www (What went well): The logo is related to a radio station as it contains music notes which links to playing music. Therefore this logo is clear about what it is about and what it plays, the logo is also appealing as it contains bright colours and a bold text which will attract a wider audience.

Ebi (Even better if): I could improve this logo by making the background more bold. I could do this by changing the size of the shape of the line, this is done by holding by ,'CMD and T' as well as, 'sift'. therefore I can improve this logo by making the background more bold and appealing.

Lock Radio Station.

I first began by searching on the internet of a image of a, 'key hole' I then saved my chosen image and opened it onto Photoshop.

I then made the image larger and keeping the propitiations the same. I did this by holding, 'CMD and T' then, 'Sift'.

Next I changed the background of the logo by selecting the, 'Paint bucket tool' and choosing the colour white which allowed me to change the colour of the background to change it to a white background.

I then selected a font using the website, 'dafont.com' which I then chosen a font  on this website which is called, 'Cute love'. This font type would appear appealing and professional for my logo design. I then added the chosen font to my logo by selecting the, 'Text tool' and clicking on the area I wished the text to be place.

I then made the text larger by using the, 'Text tool' and changing the size of the text which is at the top of the menu. (The size I have chosen was 72).

And I then completed typing my font for my logo which you can see here.

I then changed the colour of the font by selecting the, 'Text tool' and choosing the colours I would like to use for my font. (I used individual colurs for each of the four letters this is so the logo appears more bright, youthful and positive to the audience).

Next I made the image of the key hold more bold I did this by selecting the, 'Paint brush tool' and choosing the colour black which I then slowly clicked on the areas which I wished to change colour to seem more bold and clear for the audience.

I then added the font, 'OW!' to the logo, I did this by using the, 'Text tool' and clicking on the area where I wished the font to be placed.

After this I added a background so my logo appeared more interesting to the audience. I did this by selecting the, 'Shape tool' and selecting, 'Line' which allowed me to put the line where I wished. Once I have completed this I have finished my logo for, 'Lock radio station'.

Www (What went well): My logo is clear to the audience of what it is and the font used which appeal to many appeal as it suggests that this radio station is positive as the use of colours and bright. (The use of bright colours suggests it is positive, happy and cheerful).

Ebi (Even better if): My logo could be improved my changing the image I used this is because the outside of the image, (the lock hole) appears rough and organized. Therefore I could improve this logo by selecting a different image so my logo appeared more professional and appealing to the audience.

Here is the target audience genre for my radio stations logo. This is important because target audience genre makes my radio station's logos more professional and appealing to each target audience.

Target audience genre-Radio stations logos I will create.

The name I have chosen is, 'Vibe' this is because it suggests the radio stations supplies a range of different types of music subtitle for all ages. Also the word, 'Vibe' means vibrant/vibrations which could be produced by music which relates to what this radio station is about which is producing music which relates to what the radio station is about. (Which is producing music for audiences in a positive way). Therefore then name, 'Vibe' will make people believe that this radio station plays upbeat and fun music along side colouful logos which appeals and suitable for many different age groups.

The design I have chosen to create for, 'Lock' radio station is my third design  this is because this logo is not bright, overpowering or childish but it is interesting and appealing. Also this logo is aimed for teenage male and females this is because the logo does not contain to much colour but it contains a correct amount of text and colour so it will appeal to this age group. The type of music played on this radio station will be R&B this is because R&B music is youthful, fun and positive reflects on my target audience which is people aged 16-25 year olds of both genders

The design I have chosen to create for, 'Pulse' radio station is my second design this is because it is clear to read and will appeal to people as it contains bright colours that will draws the audience's attention. Also this logo is aimed for male and female adults this is due to the fact it does not contain to much colour but the colour used for the background will still interest this target audience as the logo appears to be serous.  The type of music played on this radio station will be club music this is because club music music is youthful, fun and positive reflects on my target audience which is people aged 18-30 years of age.

The design I have chosen to create for, 'Buzz' is my first design this is because it is bright and eye catching which will make more people want to listen to the radio station more. Also this logo is aimed for female teenagers as it contains colours that are sterotyped to appeal to females this is because the colours pink and purple are stereotyped to appeal to female teenagers. The type of music played on this radio station will be pop this is because pop music is fun and positive which relates back to my target audience which is young children aged 5-10 years of age.

Logos for radio stations.

Here is all the logos I created for the radio stations, 'Lock', 'Pulse' and 'Buzz'.
