Treatment.
Here I have completed the
planning document of, 'Treatment' this planning document is required in order
to be fully aware of what is expected and required in the music video I plan to
create. Therefore this shows that this planning document is an important part
of my music video/planning my music video process as I become fully aware of
how my music video may appear once completed, and how to make the music video
successful and appeal to my target audience of females aged 13-30.
Paper Edit.
Here I have completed a, 'paper edit' which is a list of the footage I have wished to included in my music video and how the final music video may appear after being edited. This type of planning document is important towards creating my final music video due to the fact it helps me have a clearer and better understanding of how my final product will appear when completed. Therefore this shows this type of planning document helps me create a successful music video as well as produce a final product which shows a range of appealing and successful editing skills shown though out the music video.

Analysis of market research.
Based on my research into existing products I learned that many social message campaign adverts use a similar style which is making the advert appear dramatic, this is used so the audience can understand more about the message trying to be communicated to the audience and so the issue being communicated becomes more serious. Also the five adverts also used similar techniques which in this case was compassion, this was used in order for the audience to have more of a emotion connection with the character/s being included in the campaign as so the audience watching feels sympathy for the character/s being included in the video. I also discovered that all five adverts I analysed targeted a range of different generations this was because all five campaigns was communicating different types of issues which will affect different age groups, (such as cyber bullying, railway safety, donating blood, driving safety and anti-bullying). Therefore this shows that each campaign must target a range of different age groups due to the fact certain matters will allow be legal to adults, (such as be aware of us while driving is only allowed to target over eighteen year old, as it is legal over a person to drive under the age of eighteen). Therefore from my research I made on researching into existing products I learned similar styles and techniques are included in social message campaign adverts but each target audience must relate to the issue itself in order for the audience to connect to the message being communicated. Overall I found this research very helpful and reliable due to the fact I looked at different types of advertisements from different parts of the world, therefore this made my research and results become more efficient and successful, this is because I am now fully aware of what is required in order to make a successful and effective social message campaign advert, which in this case is to use compassion, make the advert dramatic, include a realistic narrative and to target audience by relating to the issue being communicated in the advertisement.
Also based on my research I made into competitor analysis I found out that many campaign/ resourceful websites I looked at included similar patterns such as each website would target their audience though the use chose colour, font type, information and images. This is because websites that were targeted for the younger generation would include bright colours, a range of images and appealing but clear to understand font type. Whereas the websites which were targeted for teenagers included an equal amount of images and information, clear to read font type and use of both neutral and positive colours in order for the website to not appear childish or unappealing towards teenager's opinion. Also the websites which was targeted for adults included a range of information, no images, clear to read font type and use of plain colours in order for the website to appear serious and clear to understand. Also the techniques used by the websites I had chosen to analysed used a range of humour, emotional response as well as making the websites appear both dramatic and serious. These types of techniques was used in order for all the websites communicate a clear meaning behind in order for the audience to understand the issue and what can be done to prevent from happening or how to help others who may be in a similar situation. Also all of the websites I chosen to look at all included a realistic narrative this is so the audience can relate more to the issue leading to the audience feeling more interested in all the websites.
Therefore I discovered that from all of the websites I looked at, (which in this case is, 'Cyber smart', 'Nsteens', 'Internet safety tips for kids and teens', 'Kid's health', 'Safe web surfing: top tips for kids and teens online-YouTube video', 'The cyber bullying virus-YouTube video' and 'Ways to stop bullying-YouTube video'). All included similar techniques and styles, this was used in order for the issues being communicated becomes serious and clear to understand by the audience. But all of the websites I researched targeted different generations this was so different websites communicating different issues would be available for all ages, and each issue being communicated would affect different generations. For example the, 'Kid's health' website would help young children and teenagers understand what is need in order to live a positive and healthy life. Therefore this website shows it is available for children and teenagers to become more aware of what is required to be healthy, but this website will also appeal to adults due to the fact adults will use this website if they have children or teenagers and are unaware of what is need to keep their children healthy. Therefore this website will be efficient for both the younger generation and the older generation as it will help the audience understand what is need for children and teenagers to live positive and healthy lives. Whereas the YouTube, 'The cyber bullying virus' was targeted at teenagers as the characters being included was relatable for this audience age range, the video included an equal amount of information and images as well as using clear font type making the video appealing to teenagers as the video appears both serious and appealing to watch for teenagers. Therefore I have seen an gap in the market for an advertisement aimed at teenagers this is because many of the advertisements I looked at either appeared too childish or too serious, which will then to a lack of interest for the audience of teenagers, because of this I now know what is needed in order to make a successful advertisement this is because from the use of my competitors analysis I have become aware of what is need to target teenagers and appeal to this age group. Therefore in the advertisement there must be an equal amount of images and information, the meaning behind the advertisement must be clear to understand, use both neutral and positive colours and use an appealing font type that is also clear to read for this target audience, (which in this case is teenagers). Overall I could improve on these products I have chosen to analysed by making each advertisement more personal, relatable and appealing to understand/watch in order for the audience to become more interest in the advertisement and wishing to help themselves or others who may be in similar situation which was being communicated though the use of the advertisement.

And based on my research I made into product placement I
discovered that from looking at the following channel, ‘4Music’, ‘Viva’, ‘BBC
Three’, ‘Film4’ and ‘Channel 5’that each channel was unique this is because
every channel I looked at supplies a range of different genres of programmes,
such as reality, drama, comedy, cartoons and music. Therefore a channel that
supplies a range of different programmes will become better known, successful
and professional this is because the more programmes available will attract a
wider audience range.

following channels, ‘4Music’, ‘Viva’, ‘BBC Three’, ‘Film4’ and ‘Channel 5’ that
the channel with producing a range of different genres of programmes was,
‘4Music’ this is due to the fact that this channel supplies a range of
different programmes, (such as comedy, reality, music and drama) which will
appeal more to the target audience of male and female teenagers this is because
this target audience will be fully interested in a channel that supplies a
range of different programmes available at different times of the day.

Khrystlyn's music video evaluation:
WWW: (What went well): The music video displayed a clear storyline being communicated towards the audience. This makes the overall video become more appealing as the music video itself has more meaning.
